Diabetes, glycaemic control and the effect of frequent early intervention – Donald Whitelaw, CY P01 19 01 – 1063

To try and establish whether intensive intervention (ie high Frequency contacts, early introduction medication, early dietetic contact) help bring glycaemic control (HbA1c) to target more quickly. This will use the last 3-5 years of Diabetes data from both primary and secondary care (where appropriate) , using the code HbA1c as a control on which to identify the cohort and the time periods.
