As part of our work to hear from people across the Yorkshire & Humber, we worked with local volunteer groups to host workshops in their communities. Have a closer look how we work with public and what we have learnt so far from our communities in our reports.

In these workshops, we learned that people wanted to know more about how data is accessed and used in research, and what we really mean when we talk about ‘your data’. Everyone in the workshops also wanted us to be honest and clear about the strong security measures we put in place to keep people’s data safe. All the workshops were led by volunteer groups, and they wrote the reports to make sure the conversations were accurate and truly reflected what their communities said.
NHS South Yorkshire ICB, the University of Sheffield, and NHS Secure Data Environment conducting a survey to understand public perspectives on how their data is used by the NHS and its partner organisations.
