1. Who are you?

I’m Selame, a Learning and Development professional with a passion for inclusion, community engagement, and ensuring that diverse voices are heard in decisions that affect people’s lives.

2. Why did you want to be part of the group?

I wanted to be part of the group because I believe the public should have a voice in how health data is used. It was important to me to help represent communities whose perspectives are not always heard and contribute to building trust, transparency, and inclusion.

3. What has been a highlight for you whilst being a Public Member?

One of the highlights has been seeing how public perspectives can genuinely influence discussions. It’s been rewarding to contribute to important conversations about health data while learning from a diverse group of people with different experiences and viewpoints.
