We know that the best decisions are made when real people’s voices are part of the work. This is why the Y&H SDE is setting up a brand-new Young People’s Advisory Group as part of our ongoing commitment to patient and public involvement and engagement. We want to recruit our first cohort of young people, aged between 16 and 24 this year. The group will offer young people new skills, a better understanding of the research environment, and involve them in shaping our decisions. Their experiences, ideas and opinions will mean our decisions can reflect the lives of young people and their communities.
